Lugnuts 2010

We ended another season at Frenship Youth League. Ty's team was the Lugnuts this round and they took second place in their division. Ty had a great time and a great season.. he improves each time and we are so proud of him. Not just the way he plays but the way he listens and uses his manners. Sister was quite supportive and does not seem to realize that she is not just one of the guys! I was a little slow getting to the bunch this year after the game with a stroller and baby but managed to get a few pictures. Trent and I have really grown to be great friends with the parents as well and feel blessed to be a part of such a great group of people. We will be starting Fall Ball in another couple of weeks but are enjoying the break for now. Although we were sad to change our name from the Red Dawgs it looks like we will be keeping it for the future for the league and not to have to replace our shirts again! WAY TO GO LUGNUTS!

Olivia Soccer (from Mar-May)

The Camo Queens

Livi's Bestie, Avery Stallings

This was the first year for Olivia to try out a sport and she chose soccer with her best friend since the two's class... miss Avery. What a great experience she had. Our pediatrician and friend was her coach a as well as Avery's dad and she had another friend from school Carson, that played on the team as well. Their little uniforms could not be any cuter thanks to my friend Brandi, AKA Avery's mom. They had matching hoodies and bags! Olivia was not real aggressive but can be seen smiling the entire time she was out there! She scored two goals the whole season which is more than I thought would happen! She LOVED going to practices too. Her coach has a real gift with children and coaches all four of his kids teams.. amazing. I think he is a big part of the reason she enjoyed it so much. There were more cold games than warm and the fields are out on the highest most windy part of Lubbock, but how happy she was to play made it worth it!
